Happy May, friends! We're halfway through May and it's hard to believe we'll be going through all of our end of the school year and summertime events soon. Can someone please tell me how time flies so quickly?
This month, my co-host and I are sharing Moodboards! And since it's 2015, we're sharing 15 things in our moodboards, too. But before I share mine, I want to introduce you to this month's co-host. This girl is creative and always full of the sweetest words. Plus, she's a newly engaged blogger and Etsy shop owner!

One of the things I admire most about Jenny is her creative spirit and courageous heart to go for her dreams. So when Jenny and I were brainstorming topic ideas, it was no surprise that we agreed on moodboards! And now we can't wait to see what you've come up with!

1. Pink Top | 2. Necklace | 3. Striped Top | 4. Floral Skirt | 5. Scarf | 6. Ring | 7. Purse | 8. Sunglasses | 9. Sneakers | 10. Nail Polish | 11. Sandals | 12. Bow | 13. Bobby Pins | 14. Babylips | 15. Belt
I spotted that floral skirt a few weeks ago on another blog and haven't gotten it out of my mind since. So the only logical thing to do was to create an entire moodboard off it full of springy things to add to my closet. As a girl who detested pink growing up, I found it kind of ironic to see so much of it sprinkled throughout my moodboard, but a girl can change her mind, right?

What did YOU put on your moodboard? If you'd like to share (which I hope you do/will!), grab a button, add your link below and share your post with the hashtag #thecirclelinkup!

The next link-up will be a month from now on Wednesday, June 17th and we'll be sharing our Summer Staples. What is a MUST for you in the summertime? Something sweet to sip on at a picnic? Some chick lit to read while sitting by the pool? Or maybe some flip-flops to throw into your beach bag? Create a moodboard or collage and tell us what your musts are for this upcoming sunny season! See you then, friends!
Oh gosh, Kiki! Love all these spring staples! I'm stuck on stripes, florals, and shades of blue, so this is totally up my alley! Did you use PicMonkey to create this collage? I love it!
ReplyDeleteI like those two tops, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis was such a fun prompt to do, Kiki!! I love your mood board--I want to wear ALL of these things! Especially those cute floral sneakers and that belt! I have those sandals, but in yellow, and I love them :)
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is super cute! Though, I would think it is too hot to wear it, unless you're indoors heh. Great topic this month! Linking up my second time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat link-up! I think I took a different spin on it this time around and focused on the topic of sharing wellness resources as opposed to creating a board around a certain design. Hope that's OK : ) Everyone is welcome to contribute to the wellness board!
ReplyDeleteThe striped top and the sandals are my favorites from your board. I really want to buy those sandals STAT.
ReplyDeleteLove this community!
ReplyDeleteOoh such pretty things on your board, Kiki! This was a fun one. :)
ReplyDeleteNot going to lie, I didn't really know what a moodboard was therefore I didn't do one. I could have asked, it's my own fault. That being said, I love your board! So pretty and summery!
ReplyDeleteThe belt is adorable! I hated pink as a kid too -- now I embrace it (but I prefer really bright, hot pink -- almost neon -- pastel or pale pink still feels too girly).
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet mood board - it seems so you. And I like that the skirt and striped shirt are placed next to each other because, boom! Instant outfit.
ReplyDeleteStripes, florals, and blues are always my fave. ALWAYS. I just can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteAnd I did use PicMonkey for this collage. Good eyes! :)
So pretty and perfect for spring, right? :)
ReplyDeleteI have been all about springy and summery clothes and it was nice to have an excuse to peruse all my favorite stores online to look for things for this month's topic. :) I can't wait to see your moodboard!
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been pretty cool lately so it's actually perfect scarf weather. How how is it for you?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your post! Thanks for linking up!!
Ooh, that sounds like a great post idea! I loved how open-ended this month's topic was/is because it lets everyone pick and choose what they want to do. I'm excited to see all of the resources you listed!
ReplyDeleteSAME!!! I had my eye on them last year but held out because I already had a brown pair of sandals. This year, I think I just might get them, though! :)
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more. The Circle really is an amazing community and it amazes me that people keep coming back and have helped to make it grow, too! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd now I cannot wait to see what you made for your board, Kelly! :)
ReplyDeleteThere's still time to make one! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I still feel iffy about pastel pinks. I actually don't have anything in my closet that's a pastel pink (all my pink stuff is oddly brighter and darker!) but keep eyeing items in that color because they are almost a neutral in color (which I'm normally attracted to in terms of clothing). :)
ReplyDeleteSo true. And I would be channeling my inner Anne who is the master at pattern mixing! :)
ReplyDeleteWet and muggy and hot heh
ReplyDeleteOoh, yuck. Wet and muggy AND hot? Girl, you are amazing for being able to do bear with it! :)
ReplyDeleteThese rains just don't wanna stop. They need to go visit California for a while.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this mood board, I love the scarf, the striped top and the floral skirt. so cute.

Oh goodness. I hope you get a break in the rains AND a chance to go to California, too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michelle! I think all three of those things would look great in one outfit, don't you think? :)
ReplyDeleteI missed this link up, but I've added the next one to my calendar! Can't wait to see what everyone chooses for their Summer Staples!
ReplyDeleteHooray!!! I cannot wait to see your post! Sorry you missed last month's link-up, but glad you're planning to join in this month!
