JANUARY IN PHOTOS.
I may not be taking photos every single day (which to be honest, I miss terribly and now wish I never stopped, by the way), but I am hoping to keep my habit of taking photos of randomness and sharing them every now and then on the old blog. I haven't quite decided on the best way to do this, but I'm hoping that these posts will encourage me to keep picking up the camera and savor the little things, too.
January was full of challenges, in my faith, work, and personal life. But I've realized that I need more challenges in my life, even if they're not fun to deal with in the moment.
What was your January filled with?

Oh my gosh. The bunny is on a leash. So funny! Have yall decided to keep him/her?
ReplyDeleteThe bunny. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteYou are a great photographer.
Wow, you saw some beautiful things in nature last month! (And captured them so wonderfully as usual!) And the bunny... way too cute.
ReplyDeleteyou still have the bunny!!! super cute! :)
ReplyDeletep.s. love your new profile pic!!
I've been trying to think of a way to do the same for ages, share photos that may not have made there way into a blog post but that I would still like to share...
ReplyDeleteHere's to over coming challenges
You have some gorgeous nature shots this month!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, I loved looking at your pictures! That's a fun way to recap the month too! January was probably not what I expected- had some dark days and challenges as well. Here's to a fresh month and a fresh start! :)
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. WORD. Bunny on a leash was the best thing I've seen all day. I can't even handle the cuteness!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful! I love the leopard print flats from Target, I had a pair just like them but they started to hurt my feet so I don't wear them anymore :( I need to go buy a new pair!

So, I'm looking at your photos, and I'm all like, "ooh Kiki and I have the same taste in shoes, maybe we should be BFFs." Then I got to the BUNNY ON A LEASH and now I KNOW we should be BFFs. So. Stinkin. Cute.
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats are on my wishlist, and those are perfect! Target?
ReplyDeleteThat bunny is way too cute. Too cute and too funny. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should do a post like this! I always think it's fun to get a glimpse into the life of the blogger behind the blog--and it's super easy to create, too. :) You can do it!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks! Those are actually slippers and I got them because they're so cute and cheery (and they definitely fit Valentine's Day, too!).
Thanks! Nature shots are definitely some of my faves. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sarah! I'm all about taking photos and it means a lot that people actually enjoy looking at them as much as I like taking them. :) And you're right, it is a fun way to recap the month. And if I'm totally honest, it's also a fairly easy post to create, too!
ReplyDeleteAs for your January, I'm sorry to hear it was a little dark and full of challenges. I had a few challenges and tough moments, too. But here's to a new month with fresh starts each day!
Haha, I know, right? Rabbits on leashes are WAY cuter than I ever imagined. I still cannot believe I found him at work! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think it would be an odd sight because the rabbit LOVES walking around outside and digging and hopping and all that fun stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the beach that day was PERFECT. 60 degree weather + no wind/rain? Perfection (and way nicer than it is in the summertime!).
Thank you, Jessica! I have fallen in love with leopard print accessories lately and couldn't stop myself from buying them on my last trip because they went on clearance. Target wins once again! :) I hope you get yourself a new pair, soon!
ReplyDeleteGirl, we really are BFFs! I love that we have SO much in common--bunnies and shoes, included! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are from Target! Leopard print flats have been on my wishlist for awhile, too. I finally caved and bought those ones because they went on clearance not too long ago. Target wins again, haha. :)
ReplyDeleteEasy can definitely be a good thing. And it's different which I always enjoy! :) and amen to new months and fresh starts!
ReplyDeleteOoooh! I especially love the misty pictures and the beach pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteIt'll be fun to see what you decide to do with your picture taking goals/posts! It's such a balance...If you take "too many" - you get tired of it, but then, when I try to limit myself, I find that I really miss it!
Okay, now that you have Amazon Prime....Hit me up if you need watching suggestions! They have so many great shows to watch! (I watch more Amazon Prime stuff than Netflix.)
ReplyDeleteAh! That little rabbit (bunny?)! I'm dying in cuteness.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And it's funny that you mentioned photo-taking and such. I actually really miss the concept of taking a photo every day (even though I did complain about how wearing it was!). So I'm hoping that this will put less pressure while still "making" me keep my camera out and running. But I'm with you, taking too many can be tiring and taking not enough is hard to bear, too. It's all about balance! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's funny that you mention being jealous about outdoor time. I've actually been jealous of everyone with snow lately! But I also get what you mean about wanting it to melt. There definitely comes a point where we just want it to be dry out (it's been rainy over here, if that makes you feel a little better!). :)
ReplyDeleteAnd our bunny loves walking around outside (I found him outside at work) so walking him around on leash is his new daily activity. He loves it!
He's definitely cute (and definitely growing on me, too!). Since I found him outside, he's actually shown us that he loves his outdoor time (maybe he was originally an outdoor pet?) and loves getting the chance to hop and dig outside in our backyard. He's turning into a puppy of sorts, haha. :)
ReplyDeleteThe bunny on the leash. Love it.
ReplyDeletewe do let him walk outside off leash but in our fenced in back yard! we watch him to make sure he's not digging or anything but he does pretty well! :)
ReplyDeleteThat bunny!! Thanks for the smile. :)
ReplyDeleteI've realized just how odd yet adorable it is to see a bunny on a leash. He loves it so I don't see it as out of the ordinary. He's definitely cute, though! :)
ReplyDeleteSmiles all around. He actually loves his outdoor time so the leash is part of his daily routine! :)
