If it helps, I really like seeing all your photography!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it really does! I had no idea people would actually enjoy seeing posts like these so it really is the motivation I need to take my photo every day (I especially needed it today seeing as I *just* took my photo!). :)
DeleteThis is so cool! :) I like it. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! I'm so glad you liked it. :)
Deletep.s. I think you might be a no-reply commenter. :(
DeleteThese are all amazing! I love how your turned a simple orange slice into such an interesting shot. Excited to watch this series :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! That was a pretty last-minute photo and it's also one of my faves. I'm thinking I'm going to need to take more of those last-minute photos from now on. :) Thanks for following along, Jessica!!
DeleteI love your photographs! I'm working on a project 365 this year too! (:

Oh girl, you have no idea how much I needed that encouragement. :) Especially coming from an uber talented photographer like you! I'm always inspired by your photos, especially the nature ones. :)
Deletei would love to do this! i realized last night that i need to start taking more pictures on a consistent basis. so i may not get to do this every week but i definitely want to make it a goal to take more pics! these are all beautiful, by the way :)
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, YES! Pretty please do this challenge, too! I would love to see your photos (especially since you know I'm a huge fan of your instagrams--I actually still have your photo up on my magnetic frame!). :)

That's one of my faves from this past week, too! Thank you so much for your sweet words as well. They are so encouraging. :)
DeleteGorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)
Deletekiki.
ReplyDeletestop.
just stop.
you are so dang amazing!
GAH
we need to chat - because that spiderweb picture, insanely gorgeous. I can't even process how beautiful it is! the composition, the lighting, the edges, the dang hanging LEAF!!!!!!
bah.
so this was with your 50mm?! manual focus?!
snap, you're so good at the details, this is something I want to improve on!
why do you live so far away?! I need some lessons on this subject!
Amy, you stop. Seriously. Your flattery is going to make my head big! :)
DeleteAnd we DO need to talk. And you also NEED to come visit me (or vice a versa) so we can take photos together like crazy ladies!
But to answer your question, yep, they're all using the 50mm lens with manual focus. My focus with manual still isn't perfect, but I've been using the LCD screen to take photos (since one eye is better than the other and all that bad-vision-stuff) and it's actually helped me quite a bit.
And I'm going to say it again because it actually NEEDS to happen. Let's get together and take photos sometime soon, okay?
p.s. I was going through my photos from that day's hike and as soon as I spotted the spiderweb photo, I actually thought of you and your love for photos like that and your eye for noticing details, too. Is that weird?
You are so, so talented!!! I'm excited for this project!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so, so, SOOOO much. :) It makes me so happy to hear that other people are excited about this project! It's also given me an extra kick in the rear to keep going, too! :)
DeleteYour talent is so special! You make me want to take up photography...these are absolutely gorgeous! Pretty sure the sunset picture just put me in a really peaceful state. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Miranda! :) And if you ask me, there's never a bad time to take up photography! With such a talent for writing, I know you have a photographer's eye, too. :)
DeleteI love those little oranges for snacks!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! :)
DeleteYou are such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of your photographs.
I mean - oranges. Perfection. :)
Thank you so much, Rachel! I've always been a fan of the photos on your blog, too! I actually love your eye for simplicity, so it's funny that you mentioned mine--I definitely see it more on yours, though! :)
DeleteSo good! Looking forward to seeing more of this project from you in 2014! :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!!!! And I'm so grateful for this encouragement--it will seriously be a kick in the rear when I'm too lazy to pull out the camera... :)
Deletei've seen people do this before & love the idea! can't wait to see all the great pictures! i ate one of those little oranges (clementines?) today! delish!
ReplyDeleteSame here! I've seen lots of people do it and I'm determined to stick with it (especially after hearing encouragement like yours!). :) And clementines are sooo good--only if they're juicy, though. :)
DeleteYour photos are AMAZING!! Is it too late for me to join in?? I am a whole month late, but it looks like so much fun! You should never stop taking pictures, girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Tifani! It's definitely NOT too late to join in. The more the merrier! :)
