How was your week, friends? Do you have any dry hair/skin/lip repair products you recommend?
How about there was a door in our house we didn't even know we had for a few months after we bought it? It's one of those that goes into the wall... like a sliding door!
ReplyDeleteOperations Christmas Child! I love filling those boxes. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, too funny! Although, now that you mention it, I can totally see myself doing that very thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been doing them for years and am still obsessed with them. I've only filled boxes for girls but I'm thinking that I might want to do one of each next year (boy and girl). :) Definitely one of my favorite Christmas traditions!
ReplyDeleteHey! We did a box for a 5-9 girl this year too! Great minds :)
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! I just realized this year that that is the age/gender I pick every year, haha. I think I'm going to try and expand my horizons next year and do a boy or something just for fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you forget about that door! I'm always dreaming that there are entire rooms in my house that I always forget about. So far that hasn't become a reality yet.
ReplyDeleteI share your love of children's books and the leaves and light this time of year! They're all off the trees now, but they still look stunning as they blow around.
I really do forget about that door! It's the door that leads into our dining room and we don't use that room that often and we also leave that door open all the time. So yeah, I DO forget about it! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I am pretty obsessed with children's books right now. My collection is growing by the second and I love being able to check them out at the library and then buy them if I really like them. If you have any more recommendations, I'd love to hear them!
And leaves and light will always be my favorite. ALWAYS. :)
I need to sit down and figure out exactly what my list of "essential" children's books would be!!! We packed the majority of ours up a few years ago and it's going to a celebration when they get pulled out again. :)
ReplyDeleteI like Curious George, Corduroy, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Good Morning Muffin Mouse, Beatrix Potter's stories, The Pioneer Woman's children's books (they even have recipes in the back which can be fun to make), There Once Was a Puffin, Dr. Suess (Horton Lays an Egg is my favorite), and those are just the ones that come to my mind right away.
I can online imagine what kind of celebration that would be. Discovering old childhood toys and books is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd those are all classics! :) I haven't heard of Good Morning Muffin Moose before but it sounds like a cute one! And I had NO idea that The Pioneer Woman had children's books! I'm going to have to see if my library has them!
You have to!!! They're about her dog/ranch life!
