We had a really long lazy weekend... waking up at 6am this morning was HARD!
ReplyDeleteOoh, door decisions - fun! Love the glasses too!
ReplyDeletethis set of photos is one of my favorites so far! not sure why, but i really like them - especially the lazy saturday morning and new frames!
ReplyDeleteAfter Amy's post about painting her teal door grey, the fact that you're painting your door teal cracks me up! :) Love the pic from Sunday morning! Do you always eat waffles like that?
ReplyDeleteYay for refreshing weekends!!!
<3 that teal! i'm having to RE-PAINT my front door (my fault) after the painter went over it. i miss my teal!
ReplyDeletei DIDN'T MEAN TO! hahha i forgot to tell the painter "don't paint it" and soooo i came home to a teal door. my heart broke, it will be teal again soon!
ReplyDeletelol!!!! I am so sorry! (And sorrier for laughing...) That is something that would happen to me for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the color of that door!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I was wondering what the story was behind your front door color!
ReplyDeleteI really want to repaint our front door, too and my mom actually loves the color so I think we're just gonna do it sometime. Color is so much more fun!
Me, too! Our current door color is blue but definitely not as fun. I'm hoping we can change that color soon!
ReplyDeleteAgreeeeed! I've been waking up at 5:45 and it's painfully hard on Mondays!!!
ReplyDeletePaint is definitely fun! My mom and I went paint chip browsing at Home Depot and came across that paint chip and we both fell in love. Now we just have to go back and buy the paint!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sooo excited for my frames to come in! I ended up ordering a second box from Warby Parker and fell in love with those frames in the photo. Now I just have to wait for them to come!
Thanks, Amber! I love hearing feedback like that from photogs like you. I feel even more encouraged to keep going with this crazy project!
ReplyDeleteAnd those two photos were my fave, too. There's something about lazy Saturday mornings that are just sooo amazing (especially the lighting!). :)
Haha, that's what I was thinking! My mom and I want to repaint our door because it's dusty blue color right now and it just needs a little pick me up and some fun color. But I have a feeling @Amy will get hers done first! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the waffles, that one is a new recipe! I was late to the waffle game because I went running, so I had to toast mine and it got a littttle burnt in the process. But I am a butter girl so I like mine plain with a little butter. Hopefully that answers your question! Do you have a fave waffle recipe/go-to topping?
I think the teal would be really fun! Ours is red/maroon and I'd love a "redo"...I just can't do red there. Anyway...
ReplyDeleteI like butter and syrup best and occasionally I like strawberries and fresh whipped cream. :)

ReplyDeleteagreed! color is most definitely more fun!! can't wait to see it!
ReplyDelete:)no worries, after my initial panic i laughed (slightly) haha.
ReplyDeletei'm hoping to cross it out in october! :)
