Happy Weekend, dear friends! I'm eager for a chance to sleep in (I lead an exciting life, right?) and catch up on your blogs, too. If you're into the whole link-love thing, I'd love it if you left your fave link/post in the comments! My dear friend Angela did that a few weeks back and I'd looove to make that a tradition.
Okay? Okay.

I don't know why I didn't include this blog in this post (confusing and extremely descriptive, right?) but I should have because I am loving it right now.
I'm not too old for push-pops, right?

p.s. I emailed this out already, but this month's The Circle topic is all about Fall Favorites. My co-host and I will be sharing the following on Wednesday, September 24th:
-Favorite fall fashion/clothing item (what you're looking forward to wearing)
-Favorite fall drink
-Something on your fall bucket list
-Favorite fall recipe
-Halloween candy or Pumpkin Spice Latte?
-Favorite fall scent
-Favorite fall holiday
-What fall (weather) is like where you live
We'll see you for the link-up then!
I'm excited for the weekend, too. I have the beginnings of a cold but I have to babysit nephews and niece tomorrow...but we're going to bake a pie together!
ReplyDeleteThose wallpapers are...chic? I think that's the right word, haha. And the peach cobbler looks delicious!

Love storytelling photography! My favorite kind! I want some of those cookies right now, YUM! How cute are those magnets!? That birthday party looks like so much fun! It would be a fun evening for any kind of party!! I love the pictures on the main page for Avenue Photo, I'm excited to browse through their work! Never too old for push-pops! Remember those flinstone ones! I loved them! That bread looks delicious!! I am saving that post about building your biz as an introvert! I have gotten in my own way too many times to count because I am too shy! Oh my gosh! Those prints are too fun! a story telling print!! I feel like I'm seeing snapshots from someone's travels not cartoon drawings!! :) Love it!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so excited to click over to lots of these! Especially the one about living with less. I feel like I can get that out of perspective sometimes. Thanks for sharing these :)
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope your cold goes away! It's funny how colds seem to go around this time of the year. But baking a pie sounds like fun! What kind of pie are you baking?
ReplyDeleteAnd chic sounds good to me. :) I'm all for polka dots! And the peach cobbler DOES sound delicious. Like really, really good right now.
Yay!!! I'm so excited to see everyone's posts. I still haven't written my post yet so I think I'll have to do that this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I thought. Such a great post and so many truths in it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes to The Circle!! So excited. :)
Isn't it adorable? I actually thought of you when I found it! :) I realllly love the kayaking one!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a chance to link-up, too! And I still need to write my post so you're not alone! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I SO remember those Flintstones push-pops. The bright colors, the fruity smell and flavor, and the melting ooze ice cream(?) that melts down the sides of the cardboard sides. I haven't had one in years but I apparently remember them quite vividly! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I get in my own way because I'm an introvert, too! I all too often kick myself in the rear because I didn't speak up or say something in conversations. :) But I think that's why I love blogging--it really allows me to connect and speak up via writing (my communication of choice!).
Aren't those prints adorable? The water ones are my fave, they're so vivid and blue!
That post was amazing and I hope you got a chance to read it. It's a great reminder, especially because I can get really caught up in the simplicity thing every now and then! :)
ReplyDeleteSo far today, I'm doing well. The cold hasn't super hit me hard yet! We're going for an apple pie, as our nephews picked a huge bucket of granny smiths from their neighbours yard. Homegrown apples, yum!
ReplyDeleteOoh, homegrown apples in a homemade apple pie? That sounds delicious. And you're such a fun aunt, too! Baking a pie with your nephews and niece sounds like a lot of fun. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm glad you're doing okay today! Let's hope it stays that way!!

ReplyDeleteNo way, that's awesome! There are so many Etsy shops out there that I love just browsing and finding new shops to add to my favorites. :)
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I'm usually not a fan of baked goods with peaches (I prefer mine fresh as opposed to cooked) but that looked reallllly good. :)

ReplyDeleteIt really did make me think of you! For some reason, though, I thought you'd heard of it before now! :)
