BITS AND PIECES.
Happy Friday, friends! It's Friday and well, that means some lovely links. But before I just leave you with links, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Disqus. I've seen more and more bloggers make the switch and after getting 10+ spam comments a day, I'm pretty desperate for change. What are your thoughts on Disqus? Are you a fan?
A bright and colorful wedding in Greece. I've never thought much into traveling to Greece, but it looks so beautiful I just might have to change my mind.
Homemade Italian ice. Yes, please.
What a new, fun, and bright company.
A sweet family photo session.
I hope I'm not the only one who likes a good Buzzfeed hacks compilation--especially when it's about baking!
I'll gladly take everything in this bedroom, please.
And some of this kettlecorn, too.
Kid President is awesome and so was this surprise party.
On exploring (and embracing!) the imperfect shots. I've been struggling with the balance of living in the present and capturing memories with my camera and this was just the read I needed.
Anyone else reading the current SheReadsTruth plan? It's gotten me every single day so far and I know it's no coincidence that that's happened.
Tubs of cookies are my fave, too.
With all the August heat (and humidity!) we've had lately, this looks like the perfect sip to cool off with.
And rustic weddings will always be my fave.
From maternity, to newborn, to one year photos. Such a cute photo-filled post!
Have a great one!

i highly recommend disqus! it offers an easy way to communicate with readers. they are notified via email when you respond, so no more no-reply comments! that was my major reason for switching.
ReplyDeletehappy weekend, friend!
I LOVE that part of Disqus, too. I love that it takes one step out of my current blog comment response routine and since getting so much spam lately, I'm up for trying anything new. :) I'm actually hoping to make the switch this weekend, so we'll see how it goes!
DeleteI love Disqus! And I'm so glad I migrated over. It's so much easier now to reply to comments and to comment on other blogs with Disqus. Also, you should think about to traveling to Greece. It's amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the main reasons why I'd make the switch--and I'm hoping to do this weekend now! :) I've had toooons of spam comments lately (which get filtered by Blogger, but I still get the comment notification in my inbox) and it's driving me nuts, haha. :)
DeleteAnd I honestly have put a lot of thought into traveling to Greece. It's so beautiful there! How long were you there for?
Kiki! You always find the most awesome things on the inter-webs!! I love it!! I don't use disqus on my blog, but I have commented with it and I like it - I especially like that it lets me know if someone has responded to a comment I made.
ReplyDeleteThat Italian ice looks delicious!! Those lights from Bright Lab are soo cute! I want to own one of each! I love buzz feed! And I love life hacks! Maybe I cried a little at the surprise party for Ms. Flexer... Maybe.
"Instead of looking to create a manufactured moment, I was living real life in the moment." - YES!! I love that!
Thanks, Aubrey! I love finding links and such online and it's so much fun to share them with you and see what you think of them. :)
DeleteAnd I'm glad you put your two cents into Disqus. I know a lot of bloggers who have made the switch and wanted to make sure it was something the readers would be okay with, too. :)
And I definitely teared up for the surprise party for Mrs. Flexer--you're not the only one, friend!
Lastly, I soooo agree with you on living real life in the moment. That post got me and it's been a reminder this week for me to live instead of solely capture. :)
Those lights from Bright Lab! Love!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I saw them and fell in love. :)
DeleteI'm soooooo in love with that wedding! Greece is so beautiful, I want to travel there asap! How are you liking Disqus so far? I've had it for a couple of months and love it!
