Absolutely nothing wrong with sushi twice a week! My husband and I love sushi and will often crave our favorite sushi spots more then once during the week, what cam I say.,,sushi is wonderful! But homemade sushi?? Now that is just plain impossible!
ReplyDeleteI agree! We had some for dinner the other night and then my grandparents brought some more over later that week. And somehow they both ended up as my photos, haha. And yes, homemade sushi is the best. You can choose what you want inside and it's a lot more fun, in my opinion (especially since we're lazy and we don't roll ours). :)
DeleteCutest puppy ever! Also, The Hubs said where you live looks like "Twilight... you know, where Edward lived?" Ha! Maybe I made him watch too many of the movies with me!
ReplyDeleteI agree! The puppy is wayyyy adorable and I'm already looking forward to the next chance I get to puppy sit. It's actually way more fun to puppy sit (as opposed to actually owning a puppy) because you can get your dose of puppy and then bring them back home without having to deal with potty training (can you tell I'm not ready for kids yet?). :)
DeleteAnd your husband is hilarious! They actually shot that movie in the PNW so it wouldn't surprise me if things looked similar to the movie. I haven't actually read/seen the series, though, so I can't say if it looks like it. But I have sometimes looked in forests where we hike and see glimpses of Hunger Games, haha. :)
how cute is that crayon book! i saw your comment on love, danica's blog on my happiness list just barely. i stupidly set up my domain wrong haha. so, here's the link

It really is a cute book! One of the parents in my classroom talked about it and I'd heard of it before, too, so I had to go find it. It really is a cute book!
DeleteAnd I can't wait to stop by! Thanks for leaving me the link. :)
Ah! That sushi looks so yummy! I could really eat sushi every day. :) And that dog is PRECIOUS! My friend used to have a Britney Spaniel, they are such fun dogs and super cute!
ReplyDeleteIt was! I'm not a huge fan of raw fish in my sushi, but I'm game for any other kind, especially anything spicy. :)
DeleteAnd that puppy is adorable, right? My neighbor/family friend got a new puppy and wanted someone to puppy-sit. It was pretty much the best way to start my weekend, that's for sure!
yup.
ReplyDeleteyou're coming to charleston.
you're teaching me how to make sushi...because i want it and i need to learn how to make it so i'm not drowning in sushi debt ;)
also that puppy...THE EYES SO CUTE!
Um, I would looooove to come visit you. :) I've been reading more and more about how us single ladies (or just singles in general) need to do more and live life more and I've been feeling the itch to travel (is that weird?).
DeleteI would also loooove to make sushi with you! I'm terrible at rolling (haven't tried since forever!) and my mom makes the best sushi rice (it only has like three ingredients, though!), but I'd love to try. It's a lot of fun and way cheaper than buying it! :)
Also, aren't those puppy eyes adorable? Just seeing that photo again makes me want to puppysit again!
