To help you get to know them a little better, I've asked them to each answer the following question in honor of Valentine's Day. And I'm pretty sure you're going to want to read their answers--just as much as I want to know yours!
So tell me, who do YOU secretly admire?
I'm totally secretly (maybe not so secretly) admiring all of my amazing blog friends! I kid not, everyone just blows me away! It never fails, that upon heading to one of their blogs I leave feeling inspired, moved, happy, cheesy (sometimes), and just all around satisfied and motivated as a blogger. From their personal posts or weekend updates, to DIYs and crafty blogs, I love how consistent each one is as well as how unique! NO two blogs are the same! I look forward to having some spare time during the week so I can catch up on their lives and get a little inspiration for myself! Keep up the great work, ladies!

Strangers. Is this weird? I always find that the people I notice most are ones who have something small and defining about them. Once, I stopped at a crosswalk to let a woman around my age cross. Instead of your typical wave, she cooly held up the number two - "peace." I instantly wanted to be just like her: confident, suave, the kind of woman who could have whatever she wants from the world but doesn't need it. If that IS weird, we'll just go with Tina Fey.
I don't have any "real life" crushes, but I am totally crushing on actor Theo James right now. He stars in the new Divergent movie that comes out in March and I just think he is so cute! And in real life, he's British! I just love British accents. Swoon!

i secretly admire my parents, and parents in general. now that i'm married & working full time i struggle so much to get everything done that needs to get done every week. how my parents ever did it with me & my sister running around i will never know! there is so much to "adult life" that it really leaves you with little time for yourself & your family. parents make so many sacrifices that we don't realize until we grow up & have our own kids. my parents somehow managed to raise two kids while still putting their marriage as a priority & i think that's pretty admirable!

So this is not super secret, but I admire Elisabeth Elliot. I pray that someday I can write that poignantly about loving the Lord and that I can encourage women like she has.
So who do YOU secretly admire? A celebrity? A cute guy that lives next door? Or maybe a blogger?
WOO we're so awesome :) Thanks for having me, and I love the little design changes (you did make changes, right?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for having me, too! And thanks, this old blog was in desperate need of a few changes. I wanted to lighten and simplify the place and really was just wanting a change, too. So yes, I did make the changes--and thanks for noticing! :)
DeleteYeah no kidding, love the new looks! So fresh!
DeleteAw, thanks Christina! That means so much to me, especially since "fresh" and simple is what I was trying to accomplish!
DeleteTotes agree. I would follow this blog without even reading a word based on the design. One day I'll have to call on your services (when I exhaust my Powerpoint resources ;) )
DeleteThank you so much, Kaysie! That is honestly the biggest compliment I've ever gotten in regards to my blog design. :) I've never thought to use Powerpoint before--I just might have to try that out sometime! :)
Deletelove this girl! I too admire my fellow blogging friends and their awesome posts, that totally speak to my heart! Lately, it's always just what i need to hear, I love that when that happens. And then i remember that God always knows what i need :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, isn't Courtney, from Titus 2 Minutes?, i think you have her as Carrie.
Same! The blog world is amazing. :)
DeleteAnd thank you so much for noticing that! I totally knew her name was/is Courtney but somehow my nighttime brain typed the wrong thing. I just fixed and thank you so much for letting me know! :)
What a creative sponsor post!
