You know, just because it's cold outside, the freezing rain has started, the snow is slowly (read: slowly) melting, church was cancelled, and I've been stuck inside, too. I actually have lots to do right now, but for the moment, taking photos of the gorgeous snowy + icy outdoors is much more tempting...
...much more tempting.
So pretty! It's supposed to snow a ton here tomorrow. And by a ton I mean they're calling for like 6 inches. Ha! Everyone is FREAKING OUT! It's quite funny to watch! Your photos are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSnow is amazingly gorgeous, right? There really is something quite magical about little snowflakes! And I've heard there's going to be more snow on your side of the country! The snow this winter is crazy, right? :)
DeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you can see the individual snowflakes in the one photo. So cool!
Thanks, friend! That means a lot to me coming from you! And it's funny that you mentioned those snowflakes, because my sister and I were literally staring at that sheet of construction paper for five minutes. I was taking photos and she was watching them. Isn't it funny how snow turns us into kids (at least in the beginning)? :)
DeleteThese are just so great. Love em.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! :) Snow is magical, right?
Deleteyou've had a FOOT of snow?!
ReplyDeletelove all of these - the first one took my breathe away!
you're gorgeous - the snow is gorgeous! the dripping ice - gorgeous!
GOSH so lovely!
I know, right? I honestly STILL cannot believe that we got that much snow. We ended up with about 14 inches total and it was crazy. Normally we only get like a couple inches--and usually that only happens like every two years. Let's just say we were blind-sighted by it all! :)
DeleteAnd thank you so very, very much! The dripping ice ones were my faves, too. :)
girl! Shoot!
ReplyDeleteThese are some great photos! the ice ones are so pretty :)
Aw, thanks!!! The ices one were my faves. Even though freezing rain is dangerous, I was kind of hoping we'd get some because I've been dying to take photos of icy branches and such for a long time... :)
DeleteI can only see half your shirt up there... but I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks! My sister took that photo and I was kind of hoping it would have come out with a few more inches of the sweatshirt. It's a milk + cookie sweatshirt from a company called Threadless. Anyway, it's one of my favorite cozy weekend sweatshirts--perfect for lazy (and snowy!) weekends. :)
DeleteI love the first picture of those flower/weeds and the one of the snowflakes. I can't believe you got them so clearly! You are an amazingly gifted photographer :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much! Those were two of my faves, too. I felt like an elementary school teacher/student collecting and looking at all of the individual snowflakes. :)
