Listening to kids sing Whip/Nae Nae (is that the right name for it?) and Bad Blood. Kids singing pop songs is probably the cutest/weirdest thing I've ever heard. And it also gives me insight as to what they listen to in the car with their parents.
When your co-teacher texts you that a little girl cried that she didn't get to hug you goodbye because you had a late end-of-the-day meeting.
When a child tells you he is a cat that likes to play--and is thus named play-boy.
When a child refers to pumpkin seeds as pumpkin babies.
Having kids tell you a story starring a pimple--what do you even say about that?
When a child tells you you're good at putting on band-aids (and you insert hashtag goals).
Listening to kids talk about Star Wars and refer to Obi Wan Kenobi as Obi No Kenobi and all of the clowns (aka clones).
When a child literally falls asleep in your arms as you're reading them a book (hashtag sweetest moment ever).
