instafriday: week 34.

It's Friday, friends! We've made it through another week.

And sadly, this little instafriday post series is coming to an end. I know that most of you are probably wondering why I didn't just hold on 18 more weeks until I reached week 52, but I just couldn't hold on that long. And if there's something I've learned, it's that blogging about things I'm not happy/excited about makes for some very lame posts for you + me both.

But I'll still be posting my instagrams (think of an instagram dump kind of post every now and then) as well as posting about my week on Fridays (remember this post? it'll make it's official debut this time next week!).

So here's the the end of one post and the beginning of two more! Two is better than one, right?

I met the new class of preschoolers at church on Sunday! They're so cute and I am so excited about teaching, playing, reading, and loving on these little kiddos.

So I spent the day with my mom on Monday--well, we've actually been spending a lot of time together lately, in all reality--and it makes me feel so lucky that I have a mom who makes me laugh and roll my eyes at the same time.

Our washing machine broke and we had a power outage on Tuesday. It made for quite an exciting day. It also made me more grateful for things like electricity and the ability to do laundry in our home. #sograteful

I'm slowly learning to control my plant-watering tendencies. It's hard but I really don't want this to happen again.

I baked. And cooked. I even wore an apron. I felt a wee bit more domestic. Although Martha Stewart would probably disagree.

Happy weekend!
